When I sign legal documents,
My signature is cursive,
Initials,
JC
With a 2 dimensional Cross
off to the right side.
Angela asked me at training, "what does it mean?"
"How you sign your name?"
I Replied,
"Horizontal is feminine
Vertical is masculine
In the middle they
Meet. And,
It is 2D to make it pop.
Or
It always is open
for interpretation."
"I expected it meant something, given who you are," Angela said,
"My father is a minister and I wanted to know what
the cross meant in your signature."
"Well, you could always add an H in the middle of J C."
Angela stood and did not speak,
Then Deb said," that's what I like about him,
He makes you think and then again he doesn't."
